I realize that the concept of licensing a paid-subscription site with Creative Commons might baffle some, so allow me to explain my actions in more detail.
You see, I am not the only artist contributing work to this website. Every person "outside" NaughtyMerrick.com--photographers, makeup artists, bondage riggers, stylists, even my host--has contributed their skills and services to this project on their own time, out of a love for creation (and boobies). I have been continuouly impressed with people's willingness to participate when I explain Creative Commons licensing, and how much it benefits each person involved.
By publishing these writings and images under Creative Commons, each person involved maintains full rights to what they helped produce. It doesn't matter what aspect they contributed to; in my book none of this would be possible without them and I can't conceive of it being logical to limit them from being able to use their own art as they see fit. So each artist listed on the Credits page is welcome (encouraged, even) to alter and publish the work however they see fit. And since we all agree to hold equal copyright, we also agree to allow eachother to benefit commercially from our efforts... and oh, how I hope they do! :D
So, what does this mean for you as a visitor or a member? Well, not only do you get to enjoy some way cool art (and again, boobies!), but if you're the creative type, you've got a bit more flexibility in what you can do with content from NaughtyMerrick.com (yes, even the stuff in the Members Only area). Go... create, destroy, remix, rethink, do whatever it is you do with the stuff you see here. Publish it on whatever websites you like. Just make sure to give appropriate credit to those who helped create it, as I've tried to do here, and make sure to distribute the pieces under the same CC BY-NC-SA license. And please, send me a link!
Maybe you're not the creative type? Maybe you're from the Internet, and you just want to share some boobies with the rest of the Internet? Well that's cool too; you don't have to be distributing an edited version of a pic or text for it to be okay under this Creative Commons license. If you see something in the Members Only gallery that you, say, want to share on your blog, or in a forum with your friends, that's cool by me. Again, just give us credit please.
The only things it is not okay to do (unless you have my permission) are, for example, sell prints, publish an image or text from this site in a book or magazine for others to purchase, redistribute the content on your own pay site, or--I cannot stress this enough--not give credit to the creators! Oh, and please don't go posting all the pics from a set just because you "can"; I gotta have something to sell here right? ;) If you still have questions about what is acceptable use and what is not, or you think you need extra-special permission for your idea, do get in touch with me and we can talk.
